Dry Tortugas

I did not get away in December to dive, just too much with the Veto Session and the Holidays, but did add on to a long weekend in order to get some sun. I went to the Dry Tortugas National Park….it is 70 miles west of Key West. Fort Jefferson is located there and I did not know much about it until the visit. I am glad I did go. Enjoy the photos I took……and I will be diving this Spring!

These boats are those actually used by Cuban Refugees that crossed to get to American soil. Once they touch foot on US land they are given the opportunity to stay.
