December 2005

Sen.
Christine Radogno was my special guest for our Roundtable Meeting and
Briefing. Having recently announced for State Treasurer, Christine had
several people interested in meeting her and she did an outstanding job
briefing on the budget and fiscal condition of the state.

Austin, from Iraq, you make us proud!
I appreciate the e mail and best wishes for our race,
all the way from your deployment with Operation Iraqi Freedom. I do want
your assistance from the "sandbox."
Give the brave men and women with you our massive
appreciation for what they are doing for America! God Bless you!

THE LORD IS MY STRENGTH AND MY
SHIELD;
IN HIM MY HEART TRUSTS;
SO I AM HELPED, AND MY HEART EXULTS,
AND WITH MY SONG I GIVE THANKS TO HIM.
PSALM 28:7 (RSV)

I had an enjoyable and educational evening with the
Punjabi Cultural Society at the Bhangra Competition. I met new people
and enjoyed seeing friends; I know it surprised my friend Kehar Soodan
when he saw me on stage. The diversity of the great state of Illinois is
what helps make it a great place to call home. |
Heartland Institute recently
published an article in Budget & Tax News featuring the effort by Senator
Dan Rutherford to expose the hundreds of fees that have been increased
in the State of Illinois by posting the information on the Committee For
Legislative Action website
Started December with 192,710 miles on the Pontiac
