Dan's Diary

March 2005

Relaxing before the big Campaign

Spring Break would be the last real time I would have off from the heavy schedule of a statewide campaign until after the 2006 election. I did what I like to do most to charge my batteries and get ready for the long haul; I went to a remote island to scuba dive and hike. I have always liked “a bit on the edge” adventures and this time it was Saba, a small island near St. Eustatius in the Dutch Caribbean. It is only a couple of miles wide with a total population of 1560 and zero crime. The diving is some of the best in the Western Hemisphere. ..
