Elsie Fornero Passes Away
November 20, Elsie Fornero passed away peacefully. This is my brother-in-law
Fred’s mother, my sister Debi’s mother-in-law and paternal grandmother to my
nephew’s Zac and Kaleb. Prayers go out to the entire family.

It’s been a long road and this election
season has come to a close.
Please join me, my family and supporters so
that I can personally say “thank you”.
I am very proud of our campaign “TEAM”. We
could not have built our visibility throughout the state without your help.
I hope you will join me to reminisce and
share a few laughs. Refreshments will be served.
Thank you for your support and most of all your friendship;
it will never be forgotten!


A number of friends have asked as to my
future…..I appreciate the interest and the encouragement. I have two
years remaining in my Senate term and intend to continue the service
to my Central Illinois constituency. I am honored to serve them and
will continue to do so in an aggressive manner. As to the future….I
know that I want to be helpful to bring new people in to the
political process, encourage them to run for office at all levels
and, where I can, give them advice and help. I am optimistic about
what tomorrow will bring.

In January 2005 the Pontiac Bonneville had 139,335 miles on
her and Election Night 2006 she had 242,180. She runs great,
loves the open road, gets regular 3,000 mile service, and her
favorite drink is ethanol!


Thank you for
the tremendous support in the bid for Secretary of State.
Illinois is a great
state with wonderful people. Though the election results weren’t
what we had hoped, the experience was worth it. The best part of it
all was making acquaintances with people I would never have met had
I not gone on this journey. A special thanks to my family. God Bless
you and God Bless
America!

As a part of their election unit, the 8th graders at Iroquois West
Middle School produced a commercial for their candidate. This was
one produced for me. I really like it!

I was the guest on WBBM's 'At Issue' Chicago 780
AM. The half hour show is a popular forum for political and
governmental debate. I taped a portion of the show with Political
Editor, Craig Dellimore. Craig then taped the other portion with
Jesse White. My preference was to have the two of us on the show
together, but it did not happen that way.
