Petitions are Filed!

We filed the Romney and Delegate petitions with the State Board of Elections today (Wednesday, November 28). It was the first day petitions were able to be filed and we did it with a full delegate slate (delegates in all 19 congressional districts!). Below is a link to a press release sent out by the Romney Headquarters in Boston.

A Perspective on the  Future of Politics in Illinois

On Thursday, December 13, 2007 we held two events in Chicago. A luncheon was held at The Chicago Mercantile Exchange from 12:00 to 1:00 P.M. and former Speaker of the House J. Dennis Hastert was the featured speaker. Later that evening there was a reception from 5:00 to 6:30 P.M. held at The Chicago Club.

I was able to attend the Taste of Downtown Pontiac this month. The event was hosted by P.R.O.U.D. It was great to be out in the community again.

Springfield Networking Party

Politics After Hours

We have to start today to be ready for tomorrow. Bearing that in mind, my Campaign Committee is having a Capitol City Politics After Hours to help people expand their network and build resources for change.

October Diary

I have been a bit tardy in posting on my Diary. With the on and off Session in Springfield, it has been time consuming and frustrating. I will be catching up this month, but do please check out the October Diary because there were some late month entries that are interesting. Thanks for understanding.

Pontiac Bonneville

The Pontiac Bonneville started out November with 274,645 miles on her. Probably 95% of them are highway miles. She loves ethanol and the open road.

Road Warrior

Eric was the road warrior this month.
